Implementing Quality Improvements – How Can I Gain Acceptance?


ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Did you know that there is a social side to change inside your organization? If you fail to address it, even the best designed quality improvement initiatives will fall short. As quality leaders, you are experienced in project management and driving actions to achieve results. These skills will continue to benefit you and your organization as you continue on the quality improvement journey. We will share our learnings relative to the social side of change, driven by forces other than a technical project plan.

In order to reap the most benefit from this seminar, please bring with you a current quality-focused initiative or one from your recent past or near future. You will use this as a reference point for learning as we share change models and principles for gaining acceptance. You will walk out with techniques and tools for improving buy-in and the sustainability of your change initiative. Your initiative could range from Baldrige, to Lean Six Sigma, to customer service and your initiative could be early in development or in-process.

(Note: The concepts presented here will overlap with the insights shared during the GRQC Quality Training for Leaders program held during May and August, so attendees of those sessions will recognize similar slides and discussions.)
