About the Event

The Baldrige Excellence Framework is a non-prescriptive leadership and performance management framework used by organizations to assess their operations, align resources, and achieve sustainable excellence. It provides a holistic approach to evaluating seven core organizational areas.

Organizations typically use the framework for internal self-assessments to diagnose performance gaps or as a roadmap for applying for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

But, where do you start? What pitfalls do many organizations encounter? And, what are the benefits as your organization progresses to higher levels of Baldrige maturity?

In this webinar, we will have an overview of the Baldrige Framework, presented by Laura Kinney of Partners in Performance Excellence (PEX). Then leaders from three organizations at very different levels of Baldrige maturity, Action for a Better Community (ABC) and People-Inc., which are just beginning their Baldrige journey, and Benedictine, which has over a decade of experience with Baldrige but has experienced some ups and downs, will share their journeys and answer key questions:

For ABC and People Inc:

  • Why did they decide to start a Baldrige program?

  • What were the critical success factors in a successful start?

  • What problems have they encountered in getting the program started?

  • What are the next steps and their timeline?

For Benedictine:

  • What are the key elements of the program?

  • What benefits have they derived?

  • What caused them to stop the program - and then restart?

  • What comes next?

You'll have plenty of time to ask questions of these speakers and reflect on what Baldrige could mean for your organization.
