About the Event

Strong organizations have strong organizational cultures.  While conflict in the workplace can happen, leaders need a process to systematically deescalate conflict to preserve relationships, maintain productivity, and preserve organizational performance.

The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center and in cooperation with the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, September 4: “It’s in the Math! A Formula for Deconstructing Business Conflict.”  The session will be facilitated by Kalli Matsuhashi, Executive Confidante & Thera Rising International Associate.

In this discussion, Kalli will help attendees better understand how and why conflicts emerge in your business or organization, conflicts that can threaten growth, profitability, and even family relationships. Participants will be introduced to a formula for understanding business conflicts – how to identify the elements of the conflict and choose a path forward toward resolution.

About the speaker

Kalli Matsuhashi, MA, LP, is Executive Confidante, Owner and Thera Rising International Associate,  is an expert in conflict resolution — helping individuals, teams, and organizations better understand and address the conflicts that inevitably occur in human relationships.

Kalli provides one-day trainings on conflict resolution to teams and companies, and works with groups to create their own unique code of conduct. The code of conduct serves to define the expectations of the group and hold people accountable. Kalli also works with the key players in a conflict situation to get to the root of long-standing affronts and frustrations.

Kalli also serves as a family business advisor to family and closely-held businesses. In this role, Kalli helps companies address issues related to family dynamics, in particular the conflict that tends to arise at times of transition. She uses her training and experience as a psychologist to guide and coach family members through their disagreements and conflicting needs. Kalli also has a background in management consulting and organizational development and has worked with companies from a broad range of industries.
