As our environment continues to shift, we are all in search of new ideas, updated approaches, and best practices to get things done and to improve outcomes. And oftentimes the best ideas come from our peers. So…
The Performance Excellence Network – in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center and in cooperation with the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council – is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, May 29: “Reverse Shark Tank: Exploring New Solutions for Old Challenges.” This unique discussion will be a “reverse shark tank” of sorts, where we feature three speakers, each sharing a challenge their organization is facing, after which we will break into groups to brainstorm possible solutions. In this way, the speakers get some insights and new ideas to address their challenge, but we also create a unique forum for sharing best practices across all participants on the challenges that most of us are facing!
The three topics include (speakers to be announced soon):
Workforce: engagement, retention, and staffing issues
Leadership effectiveness: communication, succession planning
Funding challenges: funding loss, tightening budgets
After each speaker presents their challenge, we’ll move into breakout rooms and have facilitated dialogue about what solutions have worked in other organizations. You get to pick the rooms/topics — either choose a challenge that you are also facing and/or choose a challenge that your organization has worked to address. Not only is format a great way to learn from each other, but it’s a great way to network with others who are working through similar challenges!
