The Evolution of Generative AI

Generative AI isn’t just changing the workplace: it’s fundamentally redefining what it means to be a professional. We are at the beginning of a pivotal moment in human history where the very nature of human work is being reimagined. This technological revolution offers unprecedented opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and strategic focus. The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center and in cooperation with the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, November 13: “The Evolution of Generative AI.”

The discussion will start with Sam Richter, founder and CEO of SBR Worldwide/Know More, who will explore how AI is requiring a complete mindset S.H.I.F.T. – how AI can/should be used to:

• Streamline work – to improve efficiency in our tasks

• Harness expertise – producing smarter outputs with better AI prompts

• Innovate capabilities – creating new breakthrough value by leveraging AI

• Focus strategically – using AI to enhance human experience and judgment

We’ll then hear from Greg Hintermeister, Distinguished Engineer with IBM, offering some insights into emerging AI best practices he is seeing within IBM and their clients.

Every leader, manager, and individual contributor must now recognize that Generative AI has fundamentally altered the business landscape. We can no longer conceptualize work as we once did, where people perform specific, predefined tasks to achieve outcomes. This traditional model of human labor is rapidly becoming obsolete.
