About the Event
Leadership development rarely happens by accident. It grows from intentional reflection, honest self-assessment, and a willingness to learn from everyday experiences. In this webinar, leadership consultant Tammy Krings will share practical reflection practices that help leaders strengthen awareness, improve decision-making, build stronger relationships, and lead with greater intention in the moments that matter most.A familiar voice to many members, Tammy has presented highly rated sessions for the network over the years, sharing practical leadership tools and approaches that leaders can immediately apply within their organizations.
The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center and in cooperation with the Greater Rochester NY Quality Council — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, Oct 1: “Your Leadership Reflection Practice: What It Takes to Improve How You Lead.”
Most leaders spend significant time solving problems, responding to challenges, and supporting others. Far fewer have a consistent practice for stepping back and reflecting on how they are leading.
Yet reflection is often where leadership growth begins.
Reflection Supporting Communication
In this interactive webinar, Tammy Krings, CEO and Founder of The Conversations That Matter, will explore how leaders can build a practical reflection practice that strengthens leadership effectiveness over time. Drawing on more than two decades of experience developing leaders and teams, Tammy will share tools, questions, and habits that help leaders learn from real experiences rather than simply moving on to the next challenge.
Participants will examine how reflection helps leaders better understand their impact, recognize patterns in their decision-making, and identify opportunities to grow their skills, behaviors, and leadership presence. The session will also explore how reflection supports stronger communication, deeper relationships, and more intentional leadership during periods of change, uncertainty, and growth.
Throughout the webinar, Tammy will introduce practical reflection prompts and discussion tools that participants can immediately apply to their own leadership situations. Rather than focusing on leadership theory, the session centers on real-world leadership practice and the ongoing work of becoming more effective over time.
Whether you lead an organization, department, project team, or improvement effort, this session will provide a structured approach to learning from your leadership experiences and turning reflection into meaningful action.
