Annual Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards
The 2020 GRQC Showcase and Awards Ceremony will be held online on October 7, 2020 at 4:00 pm. This is a free event this year, but we do ask you to register.
We are excited to have as this year’s keynote speaker Matt Hurlbutt, President and Chief Executive Officer at Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE), with responsibility for supporting business attraction and expansion in the Greater Rochester area. Performance Excellence Awards are given to organizations who submit a detailed application to GRQC and are reviewed by trained process quality examiners who rigorously interview, examine and study the results of quality improvement efforts from the submitting organizations. This year’s evaluations were done virtually, but the same standards were applied, and all participating organizations received a report summarizing the evaluation team’s findings. There are three main purposes of the Showcase: education, recognition and celebration. Each participating organization is submitting a photo of the team and a summary description of their project. Learn about these organizations that are doing extraordinary things to streamline and simplify processes and find significant bottom-line savings and customer satisfaction opportunities. Hear about the specific results that they have achieved and learn about the rewards gained by undertaking this journey and how it positively affects what they do. Join in the recognition of these high caliber organizations that are on a journey with no end—the journey of performance excellence. And celebrate these great achievements that move the community toward GRQC’s vision of Rochester’s becoming a nationally recognized showplace for performance excellence.
